Transfer Rumours

 Whiteparish terminate Males' contract

Defender Rob Males has left Whiteparish after his contract was ended by mutual consent. Males, 28, joined Whiteparish  from West Ham in January 2002 but never gained a regular first-team spot. Last August, he suffered serious leg injuries after an incident at the family home, after which he was charged with assaulting his sister Hannah. A club statement said it was felt to be in his best interests to allow him to make a fresh start. Males, a former England U21 international, began as a trainee at Luton before moving to West Ham as a 7 year old, from where he was regularly sent out on loan, including a spell at wellow and the Whiteparish reserve team, before a permanent move. But he failed to have much impact at the Memorial Ground either, making just 13 appearances in three years, with the last one being in a 7-0 loss against Amesbury in  2009. Males suffered serious knife wounds to both legs in the incident at the family home and spent six days in intensive care. He is provisionally due in court on 2 August to answer the assault charge. Both Whiteparish and Males have agreed they will not comment further on his departure from the club.

 Parish sign Cranmer on loan

Whiteparish have signed Laverstock defender Will Cranmer on a season long loan. The 23-year-old can play at left, right-back, centre-back and midfield and has come through the ranks of the Laverstock youth team. "Will is a tough lad with a very good attitude," Lions managers Barnes and Mundy said. "He is comfortable on the ball and can get forward and deliver balls into the box," they said. Cranmer was a player the Whiteparish assistant manager Tom Mundy knew well from his time at the club. "He jumped at the chance to come here and that is important. He is keen to come here, get stuck in and do well for us," added Mundy.

MUNDY RETURNS

Tim Mundy made his first appearance in 5 months in sundays 3-3 draw against Alderbury at the Memorial Ground. Mundy returning from his successful loan spell with the Australian club, came on as a second half substitute. Mundy made 15 league starts for sydney f.c scoring 4 goals in total. Manager Sean O'Donnell had been desperate to get the kaiser back in the team after leaking several goals in recent weeks most notably the heavy defeat to local rivals Alderbury. O'Donnell talking  exclusively to  whiteparishf.c.com told the website that mundy was one of the best defenders he has ever worked with, he is also hoping that he'll be able to regain the great partnership with Charlie Evans and Dan Lumber at the back, that was such a force at the start of the season.
